New York Photo Diary - Day Two

Happy Sunday everyone,

I'm back with another post about my trip to New York last month. You can read about Day one here. I cant believe that I was there a month ago today, where is the time going?

Day two in New York started early, due to jet leg and excitement I was awake at 5am and decided get up and start the day over in Brooklyn. The sun was nowhere to be found and forcasted to rain but that wasn't going to stop me wandering and taking pictures. First stop was Dumbo to get a shot of Manhattan bridge, luckily the early start worked in my favour and the crowds had yet to descend. I can see now why this place it such a great spot for a picture.

The Brunch Edit: Meet Me In The Morning

I have been wanting to try Meet Me in the Morning (named after a Bob Dylan song) ever since it opened its doors back in April this year but never found myself in the area to give it a go until a friend went for brunch and raved about the place which gave me a push to finally visit. We organised to meet for brunch early one Sunday to avoid having to wait for a table. Thankfully, we had the pick of the tables and naturally grabbed the table by the window and giggled while we watched people taking walking their Christmas trees home.

Christmas in Copenhagen

I have to admit, Christmas is my favourite time of the year. I love everything about the season whether it be the multiple hot chocolates , Christmas songs blaring from the radio on repeat or battling the crowds getting gifts there is nothing quite like it. As a recent tradition to really get in the festive spirit I vowed I would go abroad each year and visit some of the incredible Christmas markets other cities had to offer. Last year I visited Copenhagen in Denmark and had the best time exploring this beautiful city.  For those heading there in the next few weeks I have rounded up a few of my recommendations.

My Top 5 brunch spots in New York

I'm back with another New York post all about my favourite places to have a spot of brunch. Whilst planning for the trip, I made of list of places I wanted to try that friends and fellow bloggers' had raved about. There were a few early morning starts to make sure I got a table but it's safe to say I loved every suggestion and wish I didn't need to cross the Atlantic to try their truly delicious dishes again, New Yorker's you are very lucky. Here is a little round up of a few of my faves.

New York Photo Diary - Day One

Happy Sunday Everyone!

So I've been a little MIA around this tiny corner of the Internet the last two weeks but if you didn't know I took a trip to New York last week and had an incredible time. As I've mentioned in previous posts here this was my third time in the Big Apple and I can honestly say it was probably the best time I have ever had in the city and this was all down to going solo. I did everything i wanted to do and more, so let me take you on a visual journey of my time there.

5 reasons I love Autumn

Last Saturday, I took advantage of the glorious sunny day and took a break from assignments and dragged the bf to the National Botanical Gardens in Glasnevin. I had been desperate to go for some time and heard from friends it was a beautiful place to wander and explore and it certainly didn't disappoint.

The Brunch Edit: Juniors

I've been dying to try brunch at Juniors for some time but with every attempt I was met with failure, always being pipped to the last table. Fortunately, today was my lucky day and we walked in and grabbed the perfect table in their little heated conservatory by the window. Jackpot!
