The Brunch Edit: Eathos

I’ve walked past Eathos many a time on the way to work, and many a time I’ve stopped to drool at the window display of beautifully arranged baked goods. Case and point below.

Gazing over the menu I noticed they did Brunch and made a mental note of the next available date in my diary to drag my very willing brunch buddies to sample its take on my favourite meal of the weekend. As a bit of recon I stalked their Instagram account and boy was I blown away with their food presentation. I knew this would literally be a feast for my eyes.

Eathos is a café, eatery and patisserie focusing towards healthy, fresh, clean eating. The interior is pure white with a counter displaying all its daily offerings from grab and go breakfast, ginormous bowls piled high of the most enticing salads for lunch and their ‘it would be rude not to’ baked goods. The best bit, if you get lucky with the Irish weather is the conservatory seating at the back (heating optional). Great for groups and dining in natural light.

Typically, I met my friends on a very rainy Saturday and knew I wanted something warming and delicious. I was trying to be virtuous so went for their Organic porridge with poached rhubarb and lavender yoghurt and my friends (guilted by me) went with the Toasted Quinoa Granola with an assortment of fresh fruit and Greek yoghurt and the Acai smoothie bowl. As soon as our choices came out we were all in awe of the presentation and the flavours did not disappoint. My porridge was lovely and creamy and the lavender yoghurt was delicious. It goes without saying their 3fe coffee went down treat and coffee art was insane.

Eathos manages to make everyday dishes something special and I would highly rate this on my 'must' brunch list.

Let me know if you have ever been?
